DEAD HARRISON STRIKES AGAIN

2ND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN GLOW PARTY AT LEDA LANES

Award-nominated doom rock band Dead Harrison puts on their 2nd annual Halloween Glow Party at the family-owned bowling alley, Leda Lanes. The show, entitled The Glowing is held at The Lighthouse, Leda Lanes’ glow bowling alley. It’s a family-friendly event with four local rock trios, artists, kids crafts, candy, and a costume contest with prizes for the Best Glow Costume, Most Original Costume, and Most Awesome Costume. Tickets, $10 includes glow bowling and live music.

In addition to Dead Harrison, the lineup includes Nashua’s own progressive rock band Victim of Circumstance; Manchester-based female-fronted rock band, Oziem; and Keene’s horror rock band, Lobotomobile. The theme of the show is a Radioactive Halloween, capitalizing on the blacklight environment of the bowling alley. The Dead Harrison crew has built a stage depicting a power plant and will have an electrifying light show to set the mood. Complimenting the show are two unique local artists, Chad Michael from What Box Creations will be showcasing his blacklight airbrush art, and JJ Sawicki of Odin’s Eye Studios will bring her pyrographic wood burned art.

The past year brought 150 people to the show. “It’s a special treat when families can go out with their kids and see great live music outside of the bar scene,” says Eleanor Luna, Dead Harrison’s Manager. “It’s also a great space for folks in recovery who may love live music but want a different environment to enjoy it in. Dead Harrison always looked for ways to include community members in their shows and believes strongly in creating positive environments where people can enjoy themselves and listen to quality local music. It’s also about giving bands an opportunity to bring their families out and show the kids how to rock.”
