Tales from the crypt

Dead Harrison's First Show of 2020!

After what felt like a very long hiatus, we are back and ready to put on a kick-ass show for you! Our first show of the year is at Boston's best-known nightclub, The Middle East, in Cambridge, MA.

This is a very special show because we're playing with our friends from the energetic pub rock band Robotic Hawks, whose rehearsal room is right down the hall from us! We're also super excited to play with Elsewhere, a progressive-punk/power-pop trio from Boston, and Tester, a heavy melodic rock band from Framingham, MA.

The Middle East is one of our favorite stages to play, and this is an all-ages show so bring your families! In addition to excellent music, they have the finest Mediterranean food in Boston!

We hope to see you there to celebrate our come back!

Shout Out Sunday! - Prospero Eaton

IT'S SHOUT OUT SUNDAY!
Every week we will give a SHOUT OUT to one of our Awesome Denizens of The Darkness (our Fans!). Every week will be different. Every week will be special.

This week we chose one of our closest friends, and biggest fan Prospero Eaton. Prospero has been with us since the way back. You can see him dancing in our video for She Dwells, and in many pictures in the crowd or with us at our shows.

You may know him through his art at Prospero's Paintings. Prospero currently has art showing at both locations of Out of the Blue Too Art Gallery & More in Medford and Allston, also across the street in Allston at Stingray Body Art, and in The Dover Art Center in Dover NH. He also has a new exhibit at the Corner Room at The Middle East coming within the next few days. You can find out all about Prospero and how to buy his works by going to www.prosperospaings.com  or https://www.etsy.com/shop/ProsperosPaintings

We look forward to SHOUTING OUT more of you each and every week because you are all awesome!

Dark Acoustic at The Flight Center

Dead Harrison brings back what is now affectionately called "Wood Metal" to The Flight Center, Saturday, May 18th at 5 pm. If you've heard Dead Harrison's electric set you will be in for a treat as their heavy doom riffs and dynamic rhythms transform into dark melodic reveries and tribal sounds.

The Flight Center is a great place to mingle and drink a solid selection of local and craft beers. They also have an excellent tapas menu and a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere.
