New Hampshire doom metal

Dead Harrison is a Doom band from Nashua, New Hampshire that has been performing throughout the Northeastern United States for over a decade. Their sound draws from darker elements incorporating doom metal, gothic rock, pyschedelic rock, and early punk, influenced by bands Type O Negative, Corrosion of Conformity, Sisters of Mercy, Black Sabbath, and The Misfits.

Dead Harrison's music is predominantly clean vocals tastefully interspersed with death growls and upbeat punk rallying cries, tribal drums, heavy melodies, and dark harmonies. The lyrical content is descriptive and moving, forming a visual canvas of impressionistic content. Everything about Dead Harrison is mysterious and spooky, yet also fun and danceable; every show is like a Halloween party. The band is diverse, playing electric and acoustic, primarily their own original compositions and select crowd-pleasing covers.

Dead Harrison was conjured in 2008 by frontman Drae the Dead along with guitarist Shawn the Dead and bassist Jason Skulls.  The band celebrated 10 years in 2019 and added drummer Thraxx to the lineup.

Very proud moments for the band include nomination In 2018 and 2019 by the New England Music Awards for Best Hard Rock/Metal Act, their long-running all-ages Halloween show, and partnership with Lithermans Limited Brewery on the production of their craft beer End of the Blood-Lime, named for their 2020 single of the name End of the Bloodline.
